Accommodations in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia
We recommend out-of-town guests stay at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town in Old Town Alexandria, VA. 

The Old Town area is conveniently located between Washington, DC and George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate, where the ceremony and reception will be held. Old Town has a picturesque waterfront, walk-able main street, and easy access to Washington DC via the Metro public transportation.

  • The King Street Trolley is a free and provides rides up and down King Street, from the Alexandria Hilton Old Town to the waterfront. 
  • Be careful not to confuse the "Hilton Alexandria Old Town" (which is correct) with the "Alexandria Hilton Mark Center" (which isn't the right hotel for our event)!
  • If you reserve under the group link, you'll receive a daily parking rate of $18/night (discounted from $32/night). 
Fun Facts: 
  • Zack proposed to Jolie at Duke Park in Old Town. 
  • In 1748, George Washington surveyed Alexandria.
  • Although the ceremony and reception are taking place at the "Mount Vernon Inn", the "Inn" is just a restaurant; there are no hotel rooms.  Upon hearing this, an inquiring guest told the inn hostess, "I don't know how you do things in Virginia but in New England, our 'Inns' have hotel rooms."

Traveling to Virginia
There are many options to reach Virginia...
  • Fly: 
    • Reagan National Airport (DCA) is just 10 minutes from Old Town Alexandria. There's a metro-stop from DCA to Old Town. 
    • Dulles International Airport (IAD) is 40 minutes away.  You'll need to take a taxi/shuttle to Old Town.  
    • Baltimore Washington International (BWI) airport is an 50 minutes away. You'll need to take a taxi/shuttle to Old Town.
  • Train: 
    • Union Station in DC (WAS) is 20 minutes from Old Town.  You can take a metro to Old Town.
    • ALX is a smaller train station (ALX) in Old Town and across the street from the Alexandria Hilton.
  • Metro: The King Street-Old Town metro stop is on the Blue-Yellow line and across the street from the Old Town Alexandria Hilton.
  • Drive: It's a ~8hr drive between Worcester and Old Town Alexandria, VA.  Overnight parking is $18/night if you book under the group rate at the Old Town Alexandria Hilton.
